Liz Olson

Robotics PhD Grad - University of Michigan

During my time at the University of Michigan, I was advised by Professor Chad Jenkins in the Laboratory for Progress. I am interested in improving the interpretability and diagnosability of vision-based autonomous systems. My focus has been on modeling disbelief and ambiguity within probabilistic frameworks, so the future of robotics is more reliable. I also have experience in using synthetic and unsupervised data to make data-driven perception systems more generalizable.
